That's just insane, and this is stock. Just imagine what it'll do with a tune improving on the power to weight ratio, pulling it out of the turns and into the straights to shave off more time. Sadly most of these won't likely see much track time at all

That'll be really crazy at that point. But it's so ideal the way it is, I would just leave it in it's own glory.

 

Well to who ever ends up getting these, it will depends where they find it can improve and through what circumstances since sometimes its not till you drive these that you discover where improvement can be made.

 

The BMW M4 GTS is fast but it also comes with a high price tag. If only I could afford something like that and get it tuned a hit. 500hp shouldn't be too hard for the BMW M4 GTS to reach.

 

From 493 to 500 ? That'll be no problemo with the right tuner. Some simple exhaust work and a re-tune, you'll be able to squeeze that power out easily.

 

What's the point in just aiming for 500? Even if you hit that it's not like you will have accomplished something but get in another 50hp+ and you will notice it.

For all we know 493 is the average number these make or the least it makes. Once a good number of them have done base line dyno runs then we'll be able to get some real numbers down and maybe even find out some are making more than reported from BMW.

 

Not necessarily. The extra 7hp give or take is definitely easy to achieve. But it's the tune itself that you'll feel. Not just looking for gains, but gains in different regions of the powerband, Moving the torque curve around, etc.

 

This is definitely a beast on the road! It will definitely improve more with some modifications. I wish I had one.
