I’ve recently bought a 2016 435i with xdrive. I live in Canada and would like another set of rims. I’m putting winters on the stock rims, and I am looking for nicer rims for the summer time.
Now my car has wider wheels at the rear. Stock size is 225/40r19 for the front and 255/35r19 for the rear.
I believe the rim width on the front is 19x8 and the back is 19x8.5 (please correct me if I’m wrong.)
So my question is, can I put 19x8.5 on the front of my car. The problem I’m having is most wheel websites I’m looking at doesn’t give me the option to buy the same wheel with 2 different widths. Im asking because I don’t want to do harm to my car. This is the first “nice” car I’ve ever bought, and want to make sure I’m doing the right thing.
Thank you in advance.
