Jaguar is prepping a 3/4 series fighter and god is she sexy. The boys at Jag are hard at work on the suspension specifically, aiming squarely at the top ranking for driving dynamics. If all shapes up this will not be your fathers Jaguar...

this will be the 3 series sedan fighter since it's only the 3 series coupe that will now be badged as a 4 series. More on BMW's new naming scheme:

Small hatchback = 1 series

Coupe/cabrio version of the 1 series = 2 series

Compact sedan/wagon = 3 series

Coupe/cabrio version of the 3 series = 4 series

Full-size sedan/wagon = 5 series

Coupe/cabrio version of the 5 series = 6 series

- "4-door coupe" of the 6 series = 6 Gran Coupe

Executive sedan = 7 Series

There's no reason we shouldn't see a coupe version, If Jag is serious about fighting BMW, Merc, Audi and Infiniti in this segment they better...
