Here is a red on red E92 3er Coupe, for some thought.

I think black or tan is a more complementary choice for a red BMW, but that is entirely my opinion.

Do keep in mind that red/red will probably suffer an additional depreciation hit on resale. So there is an extra back-end cost.

Red on red looks great, i would just prefer a black interior on a real sports coupe. If it's a luxury coupe or exotic, then it will need a tan or cream color interior.
