In looking at the features and options for the Convertible, the active blind spot monitor is curiously missing for the M-Sport package. It shows the blind spot monitor is an option and not listed in any packages for the M-sport.

Can anyone confirm this? I really wonder how a modern convertible could be missing this feature?

I just took delivery of a 435 coupe with MSport package. There is NO blind spot monitor. My salesrep doesn't know why. I've asked BMW NA but have no received a reply. I was pretty upset that such a basic feature is missing in a $58k car.

that is really weird, sad because I bet even a $30k Hyundai has it standard.

We didn't get it either and wished we had. Absolutely impossible to see a car coming up on your drivers side if it gets even with the back window. Can't see it in mirrors... only by looking over shoulder and depending on the position of the vehicle... maybe can see.

The blind spot monitoring is available but not when ordering with m sport. This will not be the case with 2015 model year 4 series. All 4 series regardless of line and with the proper package will be getting the blind spot monitoring.
