PPK it`s not available yet at the port. Whats wrong with dealer installation?
"If port installed, it's fully residualized" says my SA. I don't see why it wouldn't be residualized if dealer installed, do you? I do know that port will be a lot cheaper.
As far as I know, price is the same port install or dealer install. And you are corect, if you will decide to lease, then port install accessories will be residualized! Just unfortunatly PPK is not available yet at the port.
He tells me I stand a chance the port program will be in effect when the car arrives in 2-5 weeks due to supplies being up.....keeping my fingers crossed.

In Canada, the MP Packages have been available since the beginning. I've had mine since October. If you can afford them, definitely makes the car worth the upgrades.
Hey I'm from Toronto... was looking at the car and was trying to compare it to my E92 Dinan Stage 2.
Wondering how quick your launch is to 100km/h...
My E92 did it in the mid-4's which was pretty decent
How's that serving you? Did you upload any videos on Youtube with the exhaust sound and the 0-100?

I have winter tires on now, but it can do mid 4's for sure. I'll wait to try the launch control in the spring when I get the offset's back on.
Haven't done a video on the exhaust, but it has a noticeable rumble over stock. To me, It's just right, no offensive highway drone, a subtle back rumble when you come off the power.. I would say it's pretty much the same as the new F30 performance exhaust setup.
That's great I'd love to hear back from you when you do have some numbers in the Spring. Mid-4s sound great. I'm just wondering how inflated the Dinan Stage 2 numbers are. They state its +71hp and +120lbft - so how that gets into the mid 4's I'm not sure, given that a 435 can do it with less 'power'.
Thanks for the quick reply. If anyone ever sees a video on Youtube or figures out the performance numbers on the power kit please quote me because I'd like to know!

The 8 speed transmission helps get it there with more finesse, apparently the Torque and HP at the wheels are higher than BMW advertises.. whatever.. I can tell you it is a much quicker car than my previous E92 with the N54. I din't have the Dinan to compare tho, so can't comment on that.

Here's some food for thought on why the new PPK kit might also be under stated:
This is for the old N54 MPP Kit on an F30, but it's the PPK rated at 320, not the 335hp rated new kit.
There are probably videos starting to emerge on this if you look around.

I'm only breaking balls. I love your in depth post regarding the PPK. I'm just giddy as a school boy as I wait for my 435 to hit the shores in the next day or two, get equipped with the power kit plus a couple more M performance pieces, and eventually get into my hands!
