Have a 2017 440i Xdrive convertible with a JB4 and an MHD backend flash. The only bolt on attachment is a BMS intake. Working with Burger Motor Sports (BMS) remotely on the turning (sending them logs for analysis) and I was informed that my 93 octane pump fuel with Lucas Octane Booster was not getting me to the E40 (97 octane) level I was seeking. Do any of you have experience mixing fuel for performance street tunes? If so, do you use any octane boosters or E85 mix? Unfortunately my closest access to E85 is 70 miles way so I would prefer an octane boost product if any of them work. Any constructive input would be appreciated.

It's interesting. I also plan to change the fuel mixture, but I don't know which one to choose. I didn't like the quality of the one I used the last time. Do you have any brands that you can recommend?

I haven't bought new fluids for my car for a long time, my son-in-law is an auto mechanic and this solves many of my problems with my car. But I still often read various car forums, because I wonder when more experienced people share their opinions on the forums and give step-by-step guides on how you can do this or that for your car. For example, here https://somespeed.com/questions/hey...freeze-for-the-3-0-time-for-a-flush-and-fill/ is a discussion of antifreeze for the engine, and since winter is close, this is becoming a hot topic for many motorists. I believe that on this portal you can find answers to your questions. I like that this site has real specialists in auto repair and proper car care.
