Did they give you an estimated delivery date?Started Production "In the system" today after a month......Finally!
Any idea when you will be taking delivery of your 4 series? im thinking a month from end of production is when you'll get it.yeah they said production will be finished approx the 15th of november
looks amazing, even better when all the chrome from the front end is gone. chrome is the biggest killer on the new 4 series, especially with a sporty color like this.then 4 days to add some m performance parts from bmw (carbon fiber mirror caps, high gloss black kidney grill, and M alloy gas and break pedals)at the dealer which i already have waiting..... black and blue colored roundels, 1 day tinting windows, 1 day black gloss roofing, and then powder coating my rims black. it will look something like this but with a black front grill
chrome window frames can look right, IMO they have no place on a german vehicle like the ones we're talking about. maybe some big V8 luxury cruiser, nothing sporty thoughYes! Chrome has no place on sports cars. Audi 's RS5 has chrome window frames. Fail. All AMG cars do the same. Wrong. The chrome surrounding the 4 grille is, at least acceptable, but not a deal breaker.
The kidney grills will be approximately $80 each. The carbon fiver accessories are gonna be much more expensive howeverthe E90 didn't but the E92 (coupe) did. I find it odd that the sportier version had chrome window frames. BMW came to their senses and don't use it on my beloved F32. Maybe we'll get lucky and the black kidney grilles will be an inexpensive M performance part.
I got the ppk and exhaust from the factory and it was between 1500 and 2500 I think. I'm not sure about adding it on after purchase though. I imagine it would cost more though. The dealership will probably charge you for shop time. I believe there's a catalogue somewhere online that I found that lists all the prices for 4 series parts. A google search should locate it for you. Hope I helped$80 each is not bad at all! Sam...you wouldn't happen to have prices on other M peroformace parts such as ppk and exhaust for the 4 series? My dealer hasn't gotten back to me about this.
You must live in Canada.....BMWUSA lists only 335i performance parts with no prices. Guess we yankees gotta wait a few months.I got the ppk and exhaust from the factory and it was between 1500 and 2500 I think. I'm not sure about adding it on after purchase though. I've actually seen a few E92 M3s have some discoloring or oxidation issues with the chrome frame. Not very good quality. Thats probably why they went to black.the E90 didn't but the E92 (coupe) did. I find it odd that the sportier version had chrome window frames. BMW came to their senses and don't use it on my beloved F32. For an M-Sport 435i, I agree.chrome window frames can look right, IMO they have no place on a german vehicle like the ones we're talking about. maybe some big V8 luxury cruiser, nothing sporty though
