One of the best reviews I have seen on the 4 series so far. Chris Harris is brilliant. So his argument on the 4 series is just how subtle the feel is when it comes to a sports coupe. The power is all there and it's really fine tuned. But why is it lacking and why is he complaining?

The way the 4 series seemed reluctant to step out of line. to me it looked smooth but it is missing that hair rasing adrenaline rush almost to smooth to even consider it sporty.

haha He held out from drifting for a while and it was near the end when credits rolled he just said "F_ck it!". I would of gave in eons ago lol

Now I have to get my hands on one of these beast and take it out on a tamed strolled around the block.

I saw the video on jalopinik and everything was good about the 4 series. My thought on why it might have lost it's edge is because maybe weight of it has something to do with it. For an odd reason the 4 series doesn't remind me of the 3 series much. It does look a bit bigger and bolder.

No drifting?! Why not? Rear wheel drives were naturally built to kick out a bit but with control it shouldn't be an issue to fold the rear back in. Tires on the other hand could get pricey when you feather em out.

The cabin space doesn't look to far off from the 3 series of course it has a slight different and more modern layout like the current bmw line vehicles.

That is what stood out for me too but you can't help it since the angle of the camera is just focusing on the glowing red interior. Love it though. I believe that is the dakota coral red leather with black high lights. Talk about an interior that wakes you up in the morning.

One thing that stood out for me during the video was each gear shift he made was on point and instant. I never knew eight gears could be beneficial.

I am still in the water with how more gears are better. But when he shifts the gears seem short and the turbo just takes him quickly through the rpm band right to the end of each gear.
