I am getting the carbon fiber interior as a free upgrade. Let's just say the dealer has really come through for us!

My question is if the finish is gloss or flat?

Any pictures or links to look at it in detail would be appreciated. Can't seem to find much info on it to this detail.

TIA

Carbon finish

It`s flat. Dry carbon fiber finish, looks much more modern:) I have gear shifter and hand brake handle istalled. Like it:)

I was hoping it was flat. Never been a big fan of glossy carbon fiber in the interior.

Now I don't have to remove it to be redone with a flat clear. Thanks!

glass just looks more alive.
just depends on the interior, it might help to compare it looking at the interior with the gloss or matte finish

I am not sure, who will make glosy carbon fiber interior for 4 series? Bet M Performance interior kit is dry carbon with alcantara leather. And it is relatively inexpensive:)

I looked at some pics online of matte carbon fiber vs. gloss and i think that matte is the way to go. Generally matte looks more modern than gloss. I think that matte will look better a few years from now. The gloss will get dated quickly.

Just received pics of the carbon fiber interior and it is matte finish with the alcantara leather upper.

Very please.

Here is the picture of M Performance carbon-Alcantara interior on my old 335. Dry carbon looks so much better!
