Mine had completed production last Sept 2, 2013 and waiting on the port for shipping to US. I ordered on the 1st day it was released for ordering on BMWUSA.COM. That was July 5, 2013. I'll keep you guys updated when I will be seeing it at Greenville, SC for the performance delivery pickup.

Production started Aug 9, 2013 and that would be week 33. I reviewed my agent's email and my car had actually completed production last Aug 26, 2013. Since Aug 30, it is at the Bremerhaven port awaiting the ship for transport here.

My 428i xdrive M sport is now enroute to US. It may arrive in the US port in the next 10 days. Just in time prior to the official Oct. 5 launch date.

Chunkychard what does that mean " a spot for a performance delivery option?

It's like the European delivery option except that I'll be picking up the car in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It includes one night Marriott hotel stay w/ dinner and breakfast. It also provides you a tour of the plant but currently it's closed until summer next year. They will also allow you to drive a similar car you purchased on a track.
