The BMW M4 has been dynoed and the results are in. It turns out that the M4 is actually pushing more power to the wheel than BMW claims.

BMW advertises the BMW M4 at 425 HP and 406 lb-ft of torque at the crank. On the dyno the M4 is measured at 415 HP and 415 lb-ft or torque at the wheels. At the crank, the dyno run shows us a measure of 450 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque at the crank.

We also get some weight measurements in. The BMW M4 comes in at 3,461 lbs. For comparison, the E46 M3 came in at 3,415 lbs.

Thanks for posting this. I always say I'm going to dyno my cars after modding and never make the time to do it. So I might as well say it again. Within the next couple weeks I am picking up a new M4 and having the Dinan Stage 2 kit installed. I will try to find a local DFW area shop that is comfortable working with BMWs to measure it for me.
