Following reports that BMW will introduce the 2015 X4 and ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe at the New York Auto Show, BMW will also be unveiling the M4 Convertible in the Big Apple.

The M4 Convertible is based on the M4 Coupe, and it will have an aggressive exterior and a hard top. The convertible should also have a number of carbon fiber components and 18-inch alloy wheels.

So now we can look forward to this too at the New York Auto Show.

I would think the M4 comes standard with 19's bc that is an upgrade option only avail on the 435...(like the 17 is standard for the 428 upgradable to 18) Also I would imagine the M4 would have an option for the 20 inch M Performance Part rims with like a competition pack which would be 5k OEM.

There have been some nay-sayers who question if the M4 Convertible will actually debut in New York. This is because the 4-Series Convertible was launched towards the end of 2013 and bringing the new M4 out so early would be a rather hasty decision. Sure it would give dealers another summer to sell it, making for better numbers, but usually BMW takes a bit more time in between model launches of this kind.
