BMW’s latest lineup, the 4 Series, happened past AutoGuide’s spies today, showing the car with almost no covering.
Rather than worrying about complicated nomenclature, the brand will migrate its former 3 Series coupes to the new name. Until now, spy photos of 4 Series cars were rife with swirly vinyl disguises, but that changed today.
Now, all the front fascia and rear end are completely uncovered. Despite that, previous photos already showed what shape the car’s double kidney grilles would take. Much the same as the current 3 Series, they headlights will reach in to touch the grilles, which will be wider and sleeker than the four-door car’s version.
The latest photos also show the car’s 19-inch M Sport wheels and brake calipers. Pictured here, the car might be a 435i or 440i based on its exhaust system. These pictures also show the car’s front quarter panel with what looks like a functional air vent.
Apart from that, the car looks a lot like a smaller 6 Series with its long, sleek roofline and fastback tail.
