The BMW M4 has long been a darling for the tuner community and the latest to add their performance package to the fold is B&B Automobiltechnik. B&B Automobiltechnik's Comprehensive Performance Package comes in three stages and can be applied to both the M3 and the M4.
Performance increases are acheived by modifying the turbochargers, installing a higher-flow intake tract, and mounting bigger exhaust downpipes. The tuner has revised the engine's ECU and will mount a more efficient charge air cooler.
The 1st stage kit costs €1,798 and raises the horsepower of the 3.0-litre engine up to 490 horsepower.
The 2nd stage kit raises horsepower up to 540, and will cost customers €2,950.
The 3rd stage kit further raises horsepower up to 580 and the torque up to 553 lb-ft of torque. That enables the M4 to get to 62 mph from 0 in just 3.5 seconds. The speed limiter, set at 155 mph, is eliminated and that makes the new top speed 205 mph.
There is more than the three stage power kit though. B&B Automobiltechnik offers a thermostatically-controlled supplementary oil cooler system for €1,495. There is also an adjustable suspension kit for €698 or lowering springs priced at €398 that drop the M4 down 30 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear. There is even a fully-adjustable KW coilover suspension for your BMW at a cost of €2,069.
Finally, you can choose a larger set of 20" wheels (255/30/R20 front and 305/25/R20 rear) for €3,950.
