I had been going to my BMW dealership for three years (since getting hit head on and totaling my gen coupe 3.8 track-see attachment) trying to get a 6 speed manual coupe. They never had one for me to test drive and I refused to put any money down on a car I could not drive first. I went on Veteran's day and sat down with a salesman and told him what I wanted (m sport, alpine white, red interior, 6 sp, nav, harmon kardon, etc), he came back and said his manager required 10% down. I said goodbye and walked out. He called two days later and said the manger would take $500 down to order one. Went back and was treated like crap by two employees, said goodbye and drove away. Then Tuesday they called and said my car was in. So I sucked up my pride and decided I would go test drive it. Should have known if I drove it I would buy it. How the exact car I wanted got there in only one month and without any money down I haven't a clue. But now she sits in my driveway.
