| 4TwoEIGHTxi | Here goes one that should be the first recall! I returned the car to the dealership under warranty to fix the problem, can you believe they actually replaced the seatbelt itself! Only had the car for one year so assuming I will be needing a new seatbelt every year to solve the problem. When the belt becomes worn it will not catch anymore!! Not sure about that but at least when it comes to dealing with what ever issues that might come up resulting in you needing a loaner or rental, i find most dealers to be great with that. Great rentals and loaners. |

Keeping up with new Yes, thanks. I am crossing fingers that there are no major recalls… but then I know BMW will cover them. So the 4 Series does not have the same engine as the 3 Series? I would imagine BMW always a high quality engine therefore one of the engines to have least problems. |

Congrats on getting your 4 series. What you should think about as time goes on is the amount of recalls that happen, the severity of them, how BMW improves on the 4 series over the years and before warranty is up, decide if you really want to get it for as long as 7 years. |

2014 428i - Just got 2 weeks ago.. love, love! After test driving the Audi 4, 3, Lexus CT2000, 250 Sport, Mercedes Benz CLA250, GLA, C300(love this too), when I drove the 428i Coupe, I am hooked! Owned a 318i back in the day, then left for others, but now a forever BMW fan.  Looking forward to keeping up with the goings on's with my car as the years go on. Hoping to keeping it for at least 7 years.
