Purchaser Demographics Thread
What compelled you to purchase a 4-series over a 3-series sedan/touring? My presumption is that you, along with the rest of us here, wanted a car with a bit more emotional appeal over a 3-series. Would you say that's why you bought a 4 over a 3?
My guess is that the 4-series should draw a different buyer compared to a 3-series buyer. Maybe younger (more sporty styling), maybe older (no need for the utility of a 3-series).
I'm curious on the age or age group that some of the people on this forum fall into. Is the 4-series skewing younger than the average BMW buyer, or the average BMW 3-series buyer?

Picked up a 2015 435i convertible this past Monday. First BMW. Coming from a Lexus ES350 and a Porsche Boxster S, fits the bill between the two.
i work in IT.
always been into BMW's ever since owning my first one which was an E30, looking to get back into one, which could likely be the 4 series.
leased 435i xdrive with power kit (a must) and perf exhaust in 02/14 for 36 mo. Aesthetically so much more appealing than F30.
Like the car a lot except it's not very nimble, especially with it's AWD set-up.
2016 M2 on radar with its even more potent N55 and smaller dimensions.
Good to see we're having people here that are coming from a luxury vehicle background.
