Black out windshield trim & rusty rotors

I'm looking to clean and blacken the plastic trim at the base of the windshield. I put on "Wipe New" about a year ago and it has turned grey and chalky. Any suggestions to black out the plastic trim?

I'm also planning to clean up the rotors that are starting to show rust. Researching various chemicals and techniques. Anyone have any suggestions?
