Coding EBT

I read on another (3 series) forum that the enhanced bluetooth option is just a case of coding - i.e. there is no hardware, it just needs to be enabled. Has anyone done this on a 4 series?

I'm sure I've looked into this before. You need to have the commbox. Think it's standard with BMW assist (which I don't have ). I could be wrong though haha

Okay I've just been out to check this. The combox lives in the boot under the floor, next to the fuse box. I have a big empty gap where it should be haha. Assuming you have the combox it looks like it's pretty easy to code in.
