I looked at some pics online of matte carbon fiber vs. gloss and i think that matte is the way to go. Generally matte looks more modern than gloss. I think that matte will look better a few years from now. The gloss will get dated quickly.

Just received pics of the carbon fiber interior and it is matte finish with the alcantara leather upper.

Here is the picture of M Performance carbon-Alcantara interior on my old 335. Dry carbon looks so much better!
